Traditionally, private equity, private debt, and real assets funds have been difficult to access. Tim Henning
CEO
Tim Henning launched Privatize in 2023 to redefine access to Private Markets funds. Since then, he has put
Privatize on the path to becoming a leading Private Markets infrastructure. Prior to Privatize, where he
serves as CEO, he was a Director at Deutsche Boerse Group, where he was leading transformational M&A,
joint-venture, product and commercial growth projects. Before that, Tim was a Vice President at BlackRock
where he focussed on raising Private Markets funds and acquiring institutional mandates. At BlackRock, Tim
raised over EUR 5bn with SWFs, corporates, insurances, endowments and family offices and was part of the
wealth distribution team, focussing on tier 1 banks and wealth managers.
Tim is a Business Management graduate from University of Greifswald. He was awarded as 30 under 30 in
Finance, Europe by Forbes magazine.
Julius Ungermann
Head of Engineering
Julius Ungermann, MBA, is co-founder and Head of Engineering at Privatize. He was previously a Vice
President at BlackRock, responsible for leading the development of distribution applications on BlackRock’s
aladdin platform in Europe and running global market intelligence tech projects. Prior to BlackRock, Julius
developed automated high-frequency trading strategies within his prop-trading business H&U Capital.
Julius holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA)
from Imperial College London.
Anthea Hohmann
Head of Product
Anthea Hohmann is co-founder and Head of Product at Privatize. Previously, she worked as a Software Engineer
for CitiGroup in Dublin being responsible for maximizing user experience of data dashboards. Prior to Citi,
Anthea co-lead a web product management project at Deutsche Börse. She was previously a Product Manager at
Starterstore.
Anthea studied computer science and psychology at Goethe University Frankfurt.
Dr. Jan-Michael Klett
General Counsel
Dr. Jan-Michael Klett is co-founder and General Counsel at Privatize. Before Privatize, he was co-founder
and Chief Legal Officer of the software growth company Yatta. Prior to Yatta, he was a Principal Associate
at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he advised on international and domestic transactions and
reorganizations as part of the Freshfields’ M&A and corporate law practice group.
Jan is admitted to the bar in Germany and New York. He holds a Masters of Laws (LL.M.) from Harvard Law
School and Ph.D. (summa cum laude) from Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg, writing his thesis on the
German Capital Investment Code.
Pascal Weyerhaeuser
Head of Corporate Development & Finance
Pascal Weyerhaeuser is Head of Corporate Development & Finance at Privatize. He was strategy consultant at
Bain & Company, specializing in Private Equity and Corporate Strategy before he co-founded the software
growth company Yatta. Pascal previously served as M&A and leveraged finance banker at Jefferies and KfW
Bank.
Pascal holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration and M.Sc. in Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance and
Management.
Ramin Gholami, CFA
Head of Client Solutions
Ramin Gholami, CFA is Head of Client Solutions at Privatize. Prior to Privatize, Ramin was a Director at
Natixis Investment Managers covering wealth clients such as (Multi-)Family Offices, Independent Wealth
Managers and Private Banks. Before that, Ramin worked for more than 6 years at BlackRock as Vice President
with Private Banks, Insurances, Independent Wealth Managers and Family-Offices.
Ramin holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and a Master in
Management from ESCP Business School. He is a CFA charterholder.
Dr. Andrea Vathje
Head of Privatize Private Markets Institute
Dr. Andrea Vathje is Head of the Private Markets Institute at Privatize. Previously, she was a senior expert
for investment products at Scope Fund Analysis, where she was responsible for Private Markets fund ratings.
Before that Andrea headed up the advisory business for structured products in Germany, Luxembourg and
Austria as Executive Director at Vontobel Bank. Prior to that, she was a Division Director at Macquarie
Bank, co-heading the structured products business. She started her career in finance at Sal. Oppenheim where
she was Managing Director and deputy head of equity and derivatives trading.
Andrea holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel, where she also graduated in
Economics.
